McIntyre Homes, located at the end of Queen Street in Danville, is a family housing site with 33 townhouse units ranging in size from one to four bedrooms. The units were constructed in 1951 and have had ongoing renovations. They are air-conditioned, have washer hookups and there are handicapped accessible units available within the complex.

McIntyre Homes is within walking distance of Danville’s Edna L. Toliver Elementary School, Jackson Park and the Crescent Drive Community Center. Crescent Drive Community Center offers a free lunch program for children during the summer. The center also houses the Danville-Boyle County Head Start Program as well as other federal programs.

Surrounded by a community of homeowners, it is also home to the Housing Authority of Danville’s central office and central maintenance shop and has off-street parking available.

To reach McIntyre Homes from Danville’s Main Street, travel west on Main and turn right onto Maple Avenue, left onto West Lexington Avenue, right onto Forest Avenue and left onto Queen Street. McIntyre Circle is immediately to your right.
