Latimer Heights
Latimer Heights, located off Danville’s West Lexington Avenue, features two sites of 48 and 12 apartments. Handicapped accessible units are available. The garden-style, air-conditioned apartments were constructed in 1968 and have had ongoing renovations. They are zero to one bedroom in size. Wooded courtyards are located between the buildings. The site features a Laundromat and a community room for resident activities and involvement. There is also an on-site computer available for use by residents.
Latimer Heights backs up to the Sixth Street Park and is surrounded by a quiet neighborhood of residential homes.
Location
To reach Latimer Heights from Danville’s Main Street, travel west on Main and turn right onto Maple Avenue, right onto West Lexington Avenue, left onto Swope Drive and right onto Park Drive. Twelve units of Latimer Heights are also located at 651-659 W. Lexington Ave.
