Children's Programs

 

The Growing Together Kid's Gardening Program was developed as an effort to provide children the opportunities to learn basic life skills such as planting and harvesting their own vegetables and making healthy food choices. Participants make their own container gardens filled with vegetables, herbs, and flowers and participate in other educational gardening activities and crafts. All gardening supplies, including containers, soil, seeds, and craft materials were obtained through private donations.
